Matthew Vincent / Rekrei

Matthew Vincent is the co-founder and developer of Rekrei (formerly Project Mosul), a project focused on the crowdsourcing of the memory of lost heritage. Matthew has been passionate about the use of technology in cultural heritage, particularly how technology can serve heritage, make it more accessible and bring it to life in new ways. Since 2004, he has been digging up the past in Jordan as an archaeologist, and in more recent years, has combined his love of archaeology and passion for technology to continue to develop new ways of enhancing the world of cultural heritage.
