Building Communities and Partnerships in the Digital Eco-System

Although not exclusively, access to relatively cheap and powerful computing tools has played a significant role in democratising the potential for individuals to design and build commercial digital tools and services from the ground up. These often niche digital solutions are increasingly being incorporated into broader coalitions and commercial offerings. This session will look at how Europeans are building solutions, how digital communities are built, managed and utilised, and how the digital eco-system is developing in Europe. It will analyse how both large and small businesses, governments and the education sectors can cooperate to deliver unique and compelling offerings, particularly when, on their own, no single entity can deliver the suite of necessary and potential solutions that is made possible through collaboration.
